Expected sensor lifespan varies inversely with changes in operating pressure, temperature, and $PO_2$ exposure. For optimum diving precision, calibrate with 95–100% $O_2$ when planning dives with gas mixtures above 40% $O_2$. Unopened sensors should be stored in a temperature-controlled environment between 0°C and 40°C.
