Free shipping on all orders $200.00* or above to Canada.

IDC is pleased to offer a wide variety of scuba, snorkeling and related items and we try our best to stock as much as possible; unfortunately we may not be able to have every piece of equipment in every colour and sizing option. However, we do have a large local network and are usually able to have your items in store and shipped out to you (or available for pickup) within 2-3 business days.

Please remember order will most likely not go out the day you order, and shipping times are just an estimate set by Canada Post. If you need an item by a set date, please add this in the comment area.

Camera equipment and underwater housings tend to be very specific items and are often special order due to this; IDC is proud to offer a variety of camera gear and much of it takes a longer journey to reach us than other dive equipment, so please be advised it may take upwards of a week for us to receive your item and send it to you.

If you order an item that is not in stock we will do our best to communicate with you as soon as possible. For this reason we ask that those making an online order fill in contact details including phone number and email.

Do to high cost of shipping we are not able to ship to the United States for free.

General Shipping Questions

Why do we charge for shipping?

Due to the somewhat unique size, weight and shapes of many dive related products, we find that we are unable to offer free shipping on products all year long. IDC does our best to keep shipping costs down and we charge only postage fees; we do not have handling charges.

Do we offer free shipping on scuba dive gear?

We offer free shipping at certain times of the year. We suggest signing up for our newsletter to receive notice when we do offer shipping or follow us on one of our social networks.

Buying Scuba Gear in North America

Shipping dive equipment in Canada and the USA

If you are ordering gear online from IDC in Canada or the USA we recommend opting for Canada Post or the US Post and expedited service. These options are fast, affordable and trackable. If you choose these services you will receive an email from the postal service indicating that your item has been shipped and issued a tracking number.

Ordering and Shipping dive equipment internationally

If you wish to order from IDC and live outside of the Canada and United States, we ask that you contact us via phone or email as our checkout is currently only available to those ordering within Canada or the US. We will do our best to help our international clients on an individual basis and we are able to ship outside of Canada and the USA. To make a purchase we will send you an invoice via PayPal. Payment must be confirmed through PayPal before we will process an order.

Shipping dive equipment with FedEx

Some customers prefer to have their purchases shipped via FedEx and we are happy to accommodate that. Due to FedEx policy we do require that customers provide a phone number if they choose this shipping method. We do not offer free shipping on this method only through Canada Post.

Tax Rates on Purchases

Below is a quick snapshot of our sales tax. Note you may be subject to duties pending where you are shipping the product or purchase

Shipping within BC

All goods shipped within British Columbia are subject to 12% sales tax. Courses, books and learning materials are subject to a 5% GST only.

Shipping in Canada outside of BC

Goods shipped in Canada, outside of the province of BC are subject to 5% sales tax.

Shipping to USA

Items shipped to the USA are not subject to sales tax.
