How Our Dives Work (Organized, Not Guided)
Please note that these are organized group dives, not guided tours.

• Buddy System: We will organize the group to buddy up divers based on matching skills, comfort levels, and training.
• Instructor Support: Our instructor will be on-site to facilitate proper buddy pairings and help organize the logistics.
• Your Responsibility: You and your buddy will plan, navigate, and execute your own dive safely within your certification limits.

Dive Plan & Certification Requirements

• Certification Level: Because of the depth, terrain, and entry logistics of this specific site, you must have an Advanced Open Water certification to participate in this dive.
• The Shear Wall (80’+ / 24m+): Heading out around the right corner of the bay reveals a massive vertical drop-off. At deeper recreational depths, the wall showcases spectacular boot sponges and delicate cloud sponges.
• The Protected Bay: Great for a shallower check-out cruise before heading to the wall. The rocky crevices make excellent dens for octopuses, and you might even spot an elusive decorated warbonnet hidden in the smaller cracks.

Logistics & Neighborhood Etiquette

• The Walk: The walk down to the water is a little longer than some other local sites, but this hidden treasure is well worth the effort!
• Parking: Kelvin Grove is tucked into a quiet residential area. Please park specifically in the designated southern car spots.
• Community Note: We value our relationship with the community. Please be exceptionally mindful and quiet around the local residents, especially during evening gear-ups and pack-outs.
