Transform your existing backplate into an effortlessly adjustable harness system with the Halcyon Cinch System Quick-Adjust Harness Upgrade Kit. Designed to retrofit onto any standard Halcyon or third-party stainless steel or aluminum backplate, this kit introduces instant sizing adjustment without sacrificing the strength and security of a continuous DIR 2-inch webbing harness.
Available at International Diving Centre—one of Canada's premier authorized Halcyon dealers—the Cinch™ adapter plate bolts directly to the lower bottom slots of your backplate, allowing webbing to glide smoothly when opening shoulder straps or snugging down the waist.
Effortless In-and-Out & Exposure Suit Swaps
The Cinch system solves the challenge of donning heavy gear or switching exposure suits. Pulling the waist straps tight automatically pulls the shoulder straps down snugly against your body. Pushing out on the shoulder straps provides instant slack, making it simple to slip out of your harness after a dive or adjust between thick cold-water drysuits and thin warm-water wetsuits.

- Patented Cinch™ Plate Design: Specially engineered slider adapter plate prevents webbing bind, allowing continuous 2-inch (50 mm) DIR webbing to move freely.
- Zero Mechanical Failure Points: Retains a single continuous length of harness webbing—no plastic quick-release buckles or fragile snap hardware.
- Integrated Quick-Adjust D-Ring Retainer: Allows hip D-ring and light canister retainers to remain locked in position even while the harness slides.
- Complete Installation Hardware: Comes with the Cinch main adapter plate, harness webbing retainers, and mounting assembly hardware.
