Unlike traditional neoprene wetsuits, BARE ExoWear is engineered with advanced 4-Way Stretch fabric. This provides significantly higher elasticity and a forgiving fit. For optimal thermal insulation underwater, your ExoWear top, vest, jacket, or pants must fit snugly against your body to minimize water circulation.
Pro Fit Tip: Because ExoWear fabric stretches multi-directionally, if your measurements fall directly between two sizes, we recommend selecting the smaller size. A snug fit prevents water flushing while maintaining full freedom of movement.
How to Measure Yourself
Wear minimal clothing (such as a swimsuit or light base layer) when taking measurements. Use a soft fabric tape measure pulled comfortably against the skin without digging in. Stand straight with your feet flat on the floor.
- HEIGHT: Measure from the top of your head straight down to the floor.
- WEIGHT: Measure your body weight as accurately as possible.
- CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal under your arms.
- WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.
