How to Take Accurate Measurements
For the best results, have another person assist you taking measurements while wearing a thin base layer. Keep the measuring tape snug but not tight against your body.
- Chest: Measure horizontally around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape straight across your shoulder blades under your arms.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (typically near the belly button) while standing relaxed.
- Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the widest portion of your hips and buttocks.
- Inseam: Measure along the inside leg from the highest point of the crotch straight down to the floor.
