Shearwater Research Canada’s own dive computer manufacturer, the Peregrine Dive Computer offers a colour display open- circuit dive computer with three options Air, Nitrox (up to 40%) and user selectable 3-gas Nitrox (up to 100% O2). During a decompression dive, the Peregrine provides complete information displays of all required stop times. The Peregrine can provide time-to-surface based on “look ahead” at planned gas switches and will NOT “lockout” after a missed stop or ascent rate violation. The Peregrine offers a large {2.2in. | 5.59 cm} screen display utilizing a low-power consumption, 320×240 QVGA, full colour LCD display and levels are adjustable.

An excellent dive computer. It’s sturdy, robust, extremely clear to read, easy to use, and is easily integrated with dive logging softwares via bluetooth. I recently logged over 100 dives across 2 months and only had to charge it once (that too for just 1.5 hours)! The wireless charger is also super cool and easy to use.I like having a separate manual compass and SPG, so the lack of AI and compass doesn’t bother me at all. For any recreational diving you will will ever want to do, you can be assured that this computer will be the perfect companion.

I’m extremely pleased with my Shearwater Peregrine dive computer. I purchased it after reviewing the online manual and the Peregrine does not disappoint. I found that my puck style dive computer was too difficult to read in murky water. The Peregrine solved that problem. The display is very easy to read and all the settings are very user friendly. My SPG tucks in nicely under my BCD cummerbund so I wasn’t concerned about purchasing a dive computer that didn’t have air integration. I highly recommend the Shearwater Peregrine and the fact that Shearwater is a Canadian company is the icing on the cake!
