ELASTEK outer fabric provides heat retention and superior warmth. Designed specifically to mate with the BARE drysuit collar, Ultrawarmth Dry Hoods fit comfortably, resist flushing, and are excellent additions to any dive kit.

    First off, thank you Dive IDC for quickly processing my order and shipping the same day. I received the package on Pender Island in two days. Using the sizing chart, this hood fits perfectly and is certainly an upgrade to my very old dry suit hood.
    Right of the bat, there was no cold “ice cream head shock” that I was previously experiencing, in the 43F water off southern BC. In deeper water, there was a slight trickle of cold water through the top of the hoods vents, that was initially a bit uncomfortable. However, once that water warmed up, the hood kept me warm and comfortable. Took the hood to 80ft and it performed well.

    Can tell this hood is high quality, went with a tighter fit with Medium, a larger hood may have allowed air and water to gather in top/back of head. Hopefully it will loosen up over time.
