We are the store that others call for sizes. We have a high end rental option. If you want to try out an item like a regulator you might be interested in, we will rent it to you and if you dediced you like it we will refund back the rental amount off your purchase price.

IDC offers a full line of suits. We have close to 30 in our rental department and are constantly upgrading our inventory. If we do not have a size for you we will probably put one into the rentals. We also offer variety of different styles and makes from BARE, Oceaner and coming soon DUI.

Wet Suit
IDC has over 100 suits to rent in a two piece style suit which can fit a whole hosts of sizes. We have a large selection of both male and female sizes. We teach a number of smaller students and have suits that work to keep you warm in our waters.
Hood
IDC offers both a Dry Suit and a Wet Suit style of hood. There is no charge for a hood when renting a suit from us.
BCD
IDC is always updating it's rental fleet and BCD's are the most updated product. We offer a good selection of weight integrated BCD'S and are adding the most popular Stainless Steel back plate models to our rental programme.
Regulator
IDC only rents balanced regulators. This means no matter what the depth or your tank pressure you are assured the correct breathing ease. We have regs with compasses and there is no extra cost. Also our regulators are equipped with an extra hose for dry suit use.
Tank (Air)
IDC has a good selection of Aluminum and Steel* Tanks. We also offer 63 ane 80 cubic foot sizes. All rentals come with air and you may get another fill if you want to go out again in the 24 hour rental period.
* Steel Tanks are $20/ day and are 100 cubic foot sizes. This is a popular product and may not be available all the time.
Weight
We have a good selection of lead, in either loose and belt form. Our rental rate is the same up to 45lb.
Boots
We offer 7mm boots, sizes from 4 to 14.
Gloves
All our gloves are 5mm five finger, sizes from XXS-XXL.
Mask/Snorkel
All of our masks come with a snorkel. At IDC we clean each set after every use.
Fins
We have a wide variety of fins in our fleet, from the Atomic Split to the US Divers Rocket fin.
Tank (Nitrox)
IDC is the largest Nitrox filling station in Western Canada, we fill for other training facilties. We offer any blend up to 36%. Please call in your order prior to picking up.
Computer
IDC offers the Suunto Gekko as our Rental computer. We do also offer some higher end computers if you are looking to test drive a new computer.
Compass
IDC offer free rental of compass with our regulators, if you just need a compass we have them too.
Oceaner IDC Open Water Swim Suit (Men's or Women's)
Designed wih the Vancouver Open Water Swim Association in mind. If you need one for an upcoming event, please book with us early. They are also available for sale in our Water Sports section.
Rentals for any IDC Fun Dive
If you are signed up for one of our fun diives IDC will give you 25% off your rentals. This includes the packages and Nitrox tanks as well. Computer rentals are excluded from this special.
